Excellent, I've now finally found a template that I like. I was told (by my brother) that the stockinged feet are creepy, but I disagree. Any thoughts from anyone? I think the template overall gives a nice feel and captures the essence of what this blog will be*. I'll keep looking though and if I find anything better I'll change it.

I like 'em. With the mug of cocoa the vignette looks comfortable and relaxed yet introspective. Is that the vibe you're going for? TF
I was kind of reminded of the Wicked Witch of the East's legs as they roll up under Dorothy's house in the Wizard of Oz...probably not what you had in mind, though.
The relaxed and introspective vibe was exactly what I was going for! I did not see the Wicked Witch thing until now but I still like it!
